Trailers
Trailers are usually the unpowered vehicles which are pulled by the powered vehicles. They commonly define such vehicles which are used for the transportation of materials and goods. Sometimes these trailers can be referred as mobile homes, travel trailers, or recreational vehicle which has some limited facilities and people used to stay in them.
Some trailers can be used for personal purposes and for the small business whereas some trailers are the part of the large trucks which is known as semi trailer trucks. They are used for the transportation of the cargos. Motorcycle trailers and enclosed toy trailers can be pulled by vans or pickup trucks. Bicycle trailers, open air motorcycle trailers are the specialized trailers which are smaller in size and were pulled by the drawbar. They come in single axle. Whereas campers, travel trailers, utility trailers come in both multiple and single axle.
Travel trailer: Popup campers are aerodynamic lightweight trailers which can be pulled by a small car like Coleman Bayside and BMW Air Camper. They are much shorter than the tow vehicle.
Semi trailer: One of the trailers is a semi trailer which does not have a front axle. A road tractor supports its weight. It is generally outfitted with legs which are called as landing gear. Its length should not be more than 16.15 m. Most of the semi trailers are the part of the semi trailer trucks.
Motorcycle trailer: A motorcycle trailer is developed to pull motorcycles at the back of a truck or an automobile. These trailers may be enclosed or open. You will find them in many varieties according to their capability of carrying only one motorcycle or many. They are designed specially to take motorcycles with tie downs and ramps.
Powered trailer mover: A powered trailer mover is designed to pull and push trailers. Some of them are also known as powered trailer pullers or trailer pushers. A powered trailer mover is able to pull and push a camper, an RV, a boat or a camper.
Trailer winches: Trailer winches are developed to carry boats and many other cargos from a trailer and to a trailer. Cable and ratchet mechanism are used to make them. You will find both motor and manual trailer winches
